The Hycon Hydraulic 3" Dewatering Submersible Pump is perfect for moving water. The pump has a built-in fine dewatering strainer that screens out the solids but still has the full performance of the best hydraulic pumps available. This pump is a favorite of many municipalities.

This unit is available with or without a 30' discharge hose (includes quick disconnects). This hose is a European Blue Hose. The European Blue Hose has the same high quality as a USA Gray or Black hose.
With other types of pumps, the water is pumped directly by the impeller, which is therefore worn much faster. A Hycon VORTEX pump works much differently. The impeller at top creates a revolving mass of water which forms a vortex. At the center is a cone of air. The water is forced away from the impeller. Because there is very little contact between the water and the impeller, wear is greatly reduced as compared to other types of pumps.
The Hycon Pump is primarily made out of aluminum. It will pump saltwater, but you will need to rinse it with freshwater after use. Long exposure to saltwater will corrode this pump. Most pump manufactures recommend a freshwater flush after every use in saltwater.
This pump is made to move water. Do not use it with trash or solids. Please look at our other Hycon Pumps for more options.
The 3" pump has a maximum capacity of 352 GPM. The maximum Total Head is 72 ft.
The 3" pump requires oil flow of 5-8 gpm. Maximum pressure of 2500 psi.
