Our customer's information is an important part of our business. It is our practice to keep this information protected and private. We are NOT in the business of selling it to others. We share customer information only for the reasons listed below. We share the necessary customer information needed with third party companies we employ to perform services on our behalf. This includes examples such as shipping, payment processing, fraud assessment, search results, and marketing assistance. We also share any necessary customer information with the appropriate government agency needed in regards to any law enforcement issues.

You can shop online at Tools Direct USA with confidence. We have partnered with an industry leading payment processor to offer safe and secure credit card transactions for our customers. 

Data security is of enormous importance to us, and we take vital steps to safeguard your information. Our payment processor is a validated Level 1 PCI DSS compliant service provider. The company adheres to strict industry standards for payment processing, including: Industry leading encryption hardware and software methods and security protocols to protect customer information, and Compliance with the Payment Card Industry (PCI) Data Security Standard.

Warranty Info

Diamond Core Bits, Saw Blades, Annular Cutters, Countersinks, Twist Drill Bits, Reamers, Threading Tools, and Hole Saws are warrantied by Tools Direct USA against defects in material and workmanship for a period of 30 days from the date of delivery. If you have a problem with any of these items that is caused by a manufacturer's defect, then Tools Direct USA will replace that item with a new one free of charge.

Equipment warranties are covered by the respective manufacturer. Most manufacturers offer a one-year warranty. Please see manufacturer's web page for warranty specifics. The warranty process may require that the item be sent to the manufacturer or a certified service center for inspection. In most cases, warranty claims must be filed by the customer directly with the manufacturer.

Determination of the applicability of any warranty claim will be made after the product is inspected by our Warranty Claims Department. The warranty does not cover any tool which is determined to have been used in an improper application, subjected to negligent abuse, improperly mounted, altered, involved in a non-application accident or miscellaneously damaged. The responsibility of Tools Direct USA and our manufacturer's under this Warranty is limited to repair or replacement at our option. In no event shall Tools Direct USA or our manufacturer's be liable for consequential or incidental damages. This warranty includes all labor, parts and return shipping costs via ground service.


Shipping is free on all orders over $350 that are shipped 'ground' within the contiguous United States. Orders to Hawaii and Alaska must ship Next Day Air or 2 Day Air. International customers will need to prepay via a wire transfer and have the products shipped to their exporter in the United States. We only ship to United States street addresses.

Orders may be exempt from qualifying for free ground shipping if they fall under the following criteria. Orders classified as 'heavy freight', or when the carrier makes a delivery at a location with limited access.

Limited access locations may include but are not limited to construction sites, military bases/installations, prisons, airports, hospitals, ports, state/national parks, etc.

Any order that is over 150 lbs or to large to classify as standard 'ground' will be classified as 'heavy freight'. In order to qualify for free freight on deliveries classified as 'heavy freight', the customer must:

    1. Take responsibility for off-loading the delivery at a commercial address; or
    2. Take delivery of the order at the trucking company terminal

All orders deemed exempt from free ground shipping may be charged an additional 'tail gate' delivery fee. Our Shipping Department reserves the right to route all shipments via the carrier of their choice. Requests for Expedited, Priority, Next Day or Two-Day Service will be added to the invoice.

Shipping insurance is an option for most of our products. If your purchase qualifies for insurance coverage, the choice to add/remove insurance will be available at checkout. If you decide to purchase this insurance, your order will be better protected in the event that it gets lost, stolen, or damaged while in transit. Unless otherwise specified on the customer's purchase order or at Tools Direct USA's discretion, all orders will be shipped promptly via ground shipping. An email with tracking information will be sent out after the order has shipped. We are not liable for delays in shipment occasioned by strike, fire, accidents or other conditions beyond our control. All orders received after 3:00 pm EST will ship the following day. Tools Direct USA makes shipments Monday thru Friday (excluding National Holidays). 


Most orders shipped ground within the contiguous USA will be delivered in 2-3 business days. Standard delivery days are Monday thru Friday (excluding National Holidays). Next Day and Two Day Air shipments will only be delivered on weekdays unless a previous arrangement is made with Tools Direct USA. Expedited shipping delivery dates are not guaranteed by Tools Direct USA. Any expedited shipping charges are not eligible for refunds with Tools Direct USA. To find out if your order is eligible for return, see our return guidelines listed below. If you should need to return a product you have purchased from Tools Direct USA, please observe the following procedures: 

  1. Navigate to the Orders page on your account
  2. Select the order that contains the product(s) you wish to return
  3. Click the Return button found at the bottom of the screen
  4. Select Qty of each product you wish to return (it will have 0 selected by default)
  5. Choose the Return Reason and Action that are applicable, and enter any additional information in the Comments box
  6. If necessary, send any applicable pictures to
  7. Submit Return Request

Once your return request has been submitted, it will be reviewed by staff for approval. At this stage, you may be contacted via the phone number or email address you have listed on your account for more information.

If your return request is approved you will be sent detailed return instructions to the email address on file in your account. Once the return has been received and processed back into our warehouse your refund will be granted. This may take 3-4 days to process depending on the refund method you have selected.

If our warehouse does not receive your return within 60 days of approval, then Tools Direct USA reserves the right to cancel your return.

New Products/Parts Guidelines

We will refund the purchase price of any new (unused) standard stock product, less a 15% restocking fee, within 12 months of purchase. We will refund the purchase price of any new (unused) part, less a 15% restocking fee, within 30 days of delivery. Non-standard stock custom ordered merchandise is not eligible for returns.

Used Products/Parts Guidelines

We do not accept returns for any used products/parts.

Defective Products/Parts Guidelines

We will either exchange the defective product/part with a replacement or refund the defective product/part for the purchase price and freight fees within 30 days of delivery.

Acceptance of Orders

Placing an order with Tools Direct USA is not a binding contract. All orders are subject to acceptance by Tools Direct USA.


We manage a large product inventory that ships direct to our customers from several warehouses across the country. Our goal is to ship all orders within 1 business day. However, the listing of products does not guarantee they are in stock. Sales Tax

Items sold by that are shipped to destinations in the following states may be subject to sales tax:

The tax rate applied to your order will be the combined state and local rates of the address where your order is delivered to. For example, if you live in a state that does not impose a sales tax, you may still see tax calculated on your order if shipped to another state. Additionally, the tax rates applied to your order may also be different for a variety of reasons, such as a shipment to a residential home versus a business address.

If your organization is tax exempt, please email your tax exempt form to before placing your order.  Please indicate in the e-mail that you want to be setup as tax exempt, the e-mail address associated with your account, and the reason for the exemption.  After we receive the document(s) we will set your account up accordingly for tax exemption on your current and any future orders.  Please do not place an order until after we set your account up as tax exempt.

Engine/motor power ratings (volts, amps, horsepower, rpm's, etc.) are calculated by the individual engine/motor manufacturer and the rating method may vary among manufacturers. Tools Direct USA makes no claim, representation, or warranty as to the ratings of the engine/motor on equipment, and disclaims any responsibility or liability of any kind whatsoever with respect to the accuracy of the engine/motor power rating. Users are advised to consult the engine/motor manufacturer's owners manual and website for specific information regarding the engine/motor power rating.
