The Brute S-33 Core Bits are laser welded for the ultimate in strength and durability. Small diamond particles adhered to the barrel provide side protection to reduce binding for faster, cleaner cored holes. The Brute S-33 dresses the hole as it drills and the inside slug drops out faster. Special diamond segment formulations make the Brute S-33 ideal for fabrication shops that want to maximize productivity. They can also be adapted for use in construction wherever holes may be needed for water, gas, and electrical piping. The laser welding on the Brute S-33 Core Bits not only gives the bit the ability to cut through rebar, but it also prevents segment loss.
Use to cut granite, marble, quartzite, porcelain, tile, brick, concrete & stone.
Core travel is 2 3/4", thread size is 5/8"-11.
Use wet or dry.
Dry Core Bits can be used with hammer drills provided you have: 1) the correct adapter and 2) a setting on your drill for spin only (the hammer action will blow the diamonds right off the bit, making it useless).
