Product Overview
This Diamond Products core bit is designed to cut through rebar or plate steel. Carbide inserts are brazed into the standard 10" core barrel length.
For best results go with a low speed (150-350 RPM). Carbide bits 2 1/2" and smaller in diameter get roughly 6" of total drilling depth. Carbide bits 3" and larger in diameter get roughly 12" of total drilling depth. Actual results will be based on the quality of steel and the skill set of the operator.
Bits 1 5/8" and smaller are threaded for a 5/8"-11 spindle. Bits 1 3/4" and larger are threaded for a 1 1/4"-7 adapter.
Must be used with water to keep the bit cool while drilling in steel!
